In most cases, you can move in the same day. Once your quote, agreement, payment and access details are complete, we’ll get everything arranged so you can start using your unit.

Yes. Our storage units use smart app access, so there is no need for traditional keys or padlocks. This makes accessing your unit quick and easy.

Yes. Our storage is designed to be flexible, whether you need space for a house move, renovation, travel, student belongings, business stock or a short-term overflow.

Yes. Many customers use storage for longer periods, especially for furniture, archives, business supplies, tools, equipment or stock. If your needs change, speak to us and we’ll help you look at the best option.

Storage fees are paid in advance. Your agreement will confirm the amount, payment period and any other charges that apply.

If a payment is missed, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help resolve it. Missed payments may lead to late payment charges and could affect access to your unit until the account is brought up to date.

You can access your unit during our store opening hours. If 24/7 access is important to you, please check with us before booking.

Yes. You can authorise someone to access your unit and our smart access makes this easy. Please note, you remain responsible for anyone you allow to access the facility or your unit.

You are responsible for keeping your unit securely locked whenever you are not inside it. If you have any questions about security or access, our team can help before you move in.

Security is an important part of our service. Our facilities include controlled access and security measures to help protect the site. We have 24/7 CCTV in operation and remote monitoring facilities keeping an eye on things all year round.

You can store most normal household, personal and business items. This includes furniture, boxes, stock, tools, equipment, archives and general belongings. If you are unsure about a particular item, just ask us before bringing it to site.

For safety reasons, some items cannot be stored. This includes archives and deeds, dangerous, illegal, stolen, flammable, explosive, hazardous or environmentally harmful items, as well as living creatures, certain chemicals, firearms, ammunition, and items that produce fumes or odours.

Food and perishable items are generally not suitable for storage unless they are securely packed and will not attract vermin. If in doubt, please ask our team before storing them.

Unfortunately not. There are restrictions, especially around lithium-ion batteries, power banks, chargers, e-bikes, e-scooters and similar items. Please check with us before storing these items so we can guide you properly.

No, you should not use your unit for charging batteries or electrical items.

No, your storage unit is for storage only. It cannot be used as an office, living space, business address or mailing address. Where on-site business facilities are available, these are separate from the storage unit itself.

Yes. Businesses can use our storage for stock, tools, equipment, documents, archives, supplies and seasonal items. It can be a flexible alternative to taking on larger premises before you need them. We also offer additional business services to help you grow your business.

Yes. We’re happy to help with delivery and collection support. Please speak to us before arranging deliveries or courier collections so we can confirm what is possible.

Yes, your goods should be properly insured for their replacement value while in storage alternatively, you can choose for your goods to be included under our storage protection scheme.

You should declare the full replacement value of everything you are storing. This is important because if the value you declare is too low, any claim may be reduced in proportion to the amount under-declared.

Yes. Where goods are included under our storage protection scheme, an excess will apply to claims. The standard excess is £250 per claim but you should consult the terms of the agreement for full details including for flood-related claims.

No. Some items and types of loss are excluded. Examples include vehicles, jewellery, money, deeds, securities, plants, animals, certain battery-powered items, prohibited items, and theft that does not involve forcible or violent entry or exit. We will provide the customer summary so you can review the key exclusions.

Please contact us as soon as you become aware of any loss or damage. If you believe a criminal act is involved, this should be reported promptly. We’ll explain what information is needed and guide you through the next steps.

Yes, subject to availability. If you need more or less space, speak to our team and we’ll help you look at the best option.

You’ll need to give written notice in line with your agreement. Before leaving, all goods should be removed, your account should be up to date, and the unit should be left clean and in good condition.

If items are left behind after your agreement ends, they may be treated as abandoned. Additional charges may apply, so it is always best to speak to us before your move-out date if you need more time.

Storage fees and terms may change from time to time. If this applies, we will provide notice in line with your agreement.
